Vehicle Shipping Tips

- Plan to have the gasoline tank no more than 1/4 full.

- Make sure there is sufficient coolant/antifreeze in the cooling system and sufficient motor oil so the engine will not be damaged when it is re-started after the shipment.

Vehicle Shipping

- In accordance to the new US Customs regulation, which is been enforced since May 06, 1999, ONLY the ORIGINAL vehicle title will be accepted for clearance. However, if you just bought a brand new vehicle, the Manufacturer Certificate of Origin will be enough, meaning that you don't have to register the vehicle in your name and pay all the fees related to registration. If, you just bought a vehicle from a private party, make sure that you get the title before the previous owner send it back to the DMV. The previous owner has to send ONLY the upper part of the title to the DMV to show that the vehicle is no longer in his possession.
